What does order status 'Unpaid' mean?

The status Unpaid on the Orders page will help you to better manage your orders and affiliate commission.

When one of your store orders isn't paid yet the order status in Affiliatly is displayed as Unpaid. This means no commission will be calculated for the connected affiliate while the order has this status.

This way you can always be sure to not pay commission for orders you haven't received any payment yet. The column Unpaid Earnings on the Affiliates page is only calculated based on orders with the status Paid

You can manually change the order status on the Orders page in your admin panel. Just click the ⚙️  on the very right of the order you want to change the status.

The order status of the following e-commerce platforms will sync automatically with Affiliatly by default:

  • Shopify
  • Bigcommerce
  • WooCommerce
  • Ecwid by Lightspeed

You can however disable the auto-sync by unchecking the Auto-sync store order status on the Settings > General page.
