How to fix the Paypal Authentication error
Due to changing requirements by Shopify, we were obligated to disable the integration with PayPal. Shopify users can still pay their affiliates in bulk with PayPal via MassPay CSV file.
If you're getting an authentication error message from PayPal, the added Client ID and/or API secret aren't correct. Sometimes letters or symbols are left out when copying/pasting them from PayPal into the fields in Affiliatly.
Please recheck the entered credentials for the following and try again:
- the Client ID and API Secret are from the PayPal live version (not Sandbox)
- no empty spaces before or after the Client ID and API Secret
- the full Client ID and API Secret were copied and pasted
