Why doesn't the tracking work on Instagram and Facebook?

Are you experiencing that the tracking on Instagram and Facebook doesn't work?

A possible cause for this could be your link parameter settings. Go to Settings > Tracking > Tracking methods and click on the Settings button next to Link.
Next, scroll down to the section  Link Customization and check your settings for the Link type. If your Link type is set to Hash parameter try changing to Location parameter instead. 

💡 Facebook and Instagram remove the # parameter from the link and when your affiliates use this link on these platforms the referral won't be tracked.
